International Consultants Day 2022

Today, June 02, is International Consultants Day, and the Government of Barbados marked the occasion with an address from the Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Business Development, Sandra Husbands.

After paying homage to professional services in Barbados, and the important role they play across many industries, she announced that Barbados is participating in regional discussions with its CARIFORUM partners to develop a regional plan for further collaboration in the professional services industry. She specified that the aim is to improve competitiveness and grow trade. It's anticipated that this will result in the simplification of the registration process for professionals, making it easier to move within the region.
