The Barbados Federation of Triathletes (BFIT) hosts an annual triathlon that draws international, regional, and local competitors. The triathlons are designed to cater to all levels. They suit both the recreational to the more dedicated triathletes, individuals and teams, as well as newcomers and fun-sun seekers who want to have a great time in Barbados.

The annual event takes place at Brandons Beach, St Michael, and includes the following formats: 

• Olympic distance
• Sprint distance
• Sprint relay (team event)
• Super sprint
