Export Barbados (BIDC) was established as The Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC) with effect from December 01, 1992. It is the Industrial Development Agency of the Barbados Government, with special responsibility for export promotion and for promoting and facilitating the establishment or expansion of business enterprises in Barbados. Export Barbados (BIDC) is on a mission to transform Barbados’ industrial landscape around three key pillars, known as the sustainable economy building blocks; the ocean economy, the bio-economy and the design economy. This solutions-oriented agency is working to build bold, innovative, dynamic and creative enterprises.
