Come, relive the disco era with the infectious, irresistible, pulsating music of the 70s with the band, The Australian Bee Gees Show – A Tribute to the Bee Gees.
The grounds of Ilaro Court is the perfect venue for a show that promises to have all the elements of a world class concert, complete with jaw-dropping renditions and hip-swaying hits performed by a group that makes it hard to tell the difference between them and the adored, famous brothers.
Their act is a Las Vegas mainstay and they have been in residence there for the past three years. They have captured the look, personality and sound of the original group and The Rotary Club of Barbados is thrilled to bring them to our shores for the March 15th show.
The Club has had overwhelming support and sponsorship from companies the length and breadth of Barbados who have eagerly agreed to come onboard to aid in facilitating this event. Our platinum sponsors include Globe Finance, Sagicor General, Signia Financial, STARCOM Network, Summit International Bank and Wine World.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Schoolhouse for Special Needs which was founded some eight years ago and provides quality, specialised individual programmes for children aged four years and older, who possess mild to moderate learning challenges.
These wonderfully talented children are more often than not considered to be on the autistic spectrum, may be suffering from Down Syndrome, mild Cerebral Palsy, Asperger’s Syndrome or may be unable to read and function within the ‘normal’ school environment. The Schoolhouse therefore was formed to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment where students are encouraged to grow and develop at their own rate in a way that is uniquely theirs.
The Australian Bee Gees Show – A Tribute to the Bee Gees starts at 8 p.m. and will be preceded by Barbados’ very own 12-piece soul and R&B band, Brass Soul.
Tickets are available online at Ticketpal.com, members of The Rotary Club of Barbados and at numerous box offices islandwide.
