The management and staff of Capita Financial had a courtesy call paid by Miss Barbados World on Wednesday afternoon. Taisha Carrington was Miss Capita Financial until Sunday night, when she convincingly won her title at the pageant held at the Hilton Barbados. Taisha also won in the swimwear category and was judged Miss Photogenic.
While at her sponsor’s office, she took the opportunity to mingle with the staff while they took photos with her and raised a toast to her victory. Miss Carrington was presented with a bouquet of flowers, and given a Step-It-Up account, a fixed deposit initiative that she helped to promote on her media engagements leading up to the pageant. She thanked the company for their friendliness and support. “I couldn’t have done this without you” she stated to the audience comprising staff, press, and pageant franchise representatives Leah Marville & Tashida Cox.
CEO of Capita Financial, Paul Maxwell remarked, “Capita Financial, not even a year old, is a new brand with experienced professionals re- establishing ourselves in the Financial Services market and in the Barbadian corporate community. We could not have hoped for a better outcome than being associated with Taisha Carrington.”
