Scotiabank has been showcasing the products and services of its Small Business customers and SBA members at its Bridgetown, Warrens and Rockley branches in the lead up to Small Business Week 2012, and will continue this showcase till the end of September.
Scotiabank Small Business Week, a joint initiative between the Small Business Association and Scotiabank, is September 23rd to 29th and officially begins with a free thanksgiving concert this Sunday at 6:00pm in Jubilee Gardens, Bridgetown.
Scotiabank Small Business customer Deborah Waithe of J’s Therapeutic Touch Spa & Holistic Centre was delighted at the publicity her business has been receiving since exhibiting at Scotiabank commenting: “The public’s response has been exceptional since we began the exhibit.”
Michael Lorde, Assistant Manager Small Business is very pleased with the outcome of the in‐branch exhibits so far: “Scotiabank’s Small Business customers are really excited to be participating in our Small Business Showcase. This is the fifth consecutive year that we are hosting this event, however, this year customers are much more appreciative of the opportunity to promote their products for free given the tough economic climate. I am also looking forward to presenting the capabilities of our Cash Management System at Scotiabank’s free small business seminar at Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Thursday September 27th at 6:30pm. Our panel of experts, Dr. AnnaLee Babb of Knowledge Consultants Inc. and Mr. Ricardo Redman of Acute Vision Inc. will be speaking on Using Technology to Grow Your Business. As you might imagine, space is very limited so we’re encouraging interested attendees to register online.”
