Red Advertising has added the region’s most certified Google Ad agency to its list of achievements after an extensive staff training program.

Twenty-one Red Advertising staff members across Barbados and Trinidad recently completed a three months long Google Ad training course, delivered by the Company’s UK-trained Online/Affiliate Marketing Specialist and Digital Director, Hannah Swift.

The training positions Red as the largest Google Partner agency in the Caribbean by staff levels, with a fully certified media team, and other certified staff drawn from account handling, creative and public relations. Participants in the course achieved certification after completing modules in Google Ads Fundamentals; Google Ads Display; Google Ads Search; Google Ads Mobile; Google Ads Video. Several staff also completed courses in Google Web Design and Google Analytics

Managing Director, Jevan Jutagir said digital advertising and marketing, including the dominant aspect of targeted Google Ads, was a present reality, and not just a futuristic notion. He added that Red was committed to leading the market’s digital revolution on behalf of its clients.

 The Managing Director said digital marketing, including Google advertising, presented Red Advertising with an opportunity to transition its traditionally strong strategic brand strategy and creativity, adding the power of digital to achieve even better results for clients.

To complete their training and achieve certification, staff members were required to design, launch, monitor and measure the success of actual Google ad campaigns on behalf of several Agency clients.

Ms. Swift spoke to the training and its objectives:

“It was extremely important for us that this training have both a theoretical and practical component. Staff not only spent time learning the basic and advanced functions and capabilities of Google advertising, but also got hands-on experience and assessment in areas including digital strategy and creativity, campaign setup, budgeting, optimisation and reporting.”

Red Advertising has been the most awarded creative agency in Barbados for the past 15 years, and has already won several American Advertising Federation (ADDY) awards for its digital advertising and marketing campaigns.
