IMI Worldwide Properties, a leading luxury real estate marketing and sales firm, is pleased to announce its launch of sales for the only new ocean- and harbor-front developments in Barbados through an exclusive partnership with the island’s premier developer of residential resorts.

As part of its agreement with the Barbados-based construction and development firm JADA Group, IMI will manage global marketing and sales for Saint Peter’s Bay Luxury Resort & Residences, an oceanfront development of one-to-five-bedroom villas; Port Ferdinand Yacht & Beach Club Residences, a full-service harbor and yachting community of one-to-three-bedroom villas; and Palazzate, an ultra-exclusive beachfront development of five-bedroom villas.

“Barbados is the Caribbean at its finest, and we are thrilled to partner with three properties that capture the island’s blend of natural beauty, luxury, and laid-back living,” said Mike Collins, Founding Partner & Chief Executive Officer at IMI. “Saint Peter’s Bay, Port Ferdinand, and Palazzate offer a range of luxury real estate options and amenities that truly reflect the allure of this incredible Caribbean island.”

The three developments are located on Barbados’ west coast, a region known for its hospitable culture and unrivaled scenery. With its pristine beaches and ultra-spacious villas, Saint Peter’s Bay Luxury Resort & Residences encapsulates the island’s appeal in one of its most luxurious settings. Amenities at the resort include a lagoon-style swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a watersports activity center, and culinary options ranging from casual beachfront to fine dining. The property’s villas showcase the traditional architecture and indoor/outdoor lifestyle of Barbados, with marble tiles, coral moldings, white-washed cedar joinery, and generously sized private terraces with spa pools.

Owners at Saint Peter’s Bay also enjoy privileges at Port Ferdinand Yacht & Beach Club Residences, which can be accessed by the sister resorts’ private water-taxi service. Featuring all the amenities of a five-star hotel, Port Ferdinand is home to waterfront restaurants and bars, a spa and fitness center, recreation areas for both kids and adults, yacht slips and services, and an expert staff known for its warm Bajan hospitality. The development’s local style extends to the residences, which feature over-sized living spaces and panoramic views of Barbados’ preeminent yacht marina.

Set a short distance from Port Ferdinand, Palazzate consists of four palatial oceanfront residences, each spanning approximately 13,000 square feet and featuring five bedrooms, six baths, a media room, a swimming pool, and underground parking. Community spaces include a health club and a spa area with treatment rooms. Owners also have access to the yachting slips, restaurants, and other amenities at Port Ferdinand.

Long popular as a vacation destination for British and Canadian travelers, Barbados set a 30-year high in 2017 with 188,970 visitors from the United States. That total was expected to increase to more than 200,000 in 2018, and the outlook for 2019 is especially optimistic, with several new direct flights serving the island from the States. In December 2018, American Airlines launched daily service to Barbados from Charlotte, and thrice-daily flights from Miami. The island has also recently added new flights from Fort Lauderdale, Boston, and Newark.

“This is a very exciting time for Barbados, as it’s seeing significant interest from the American market,” said Collins. “We can’t think of a better time for making our debut on the island, and we can’t think of better partners than Saint Peter’s Bay, Port Ferdinand, and Palazzate.”
