Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Jordan to the position of Director, Business Support Scotiabank Caribbean East reporting to Sean Albert, the Managing Director. Effective November 1, 2012 Claire will be responsible for the daily operations in the Managing Director’s Office for Finance, Marketing and Product Delivery, Compliance, Real Estate, and the System Support Centre. She is the first Barbadian to hold this position within the Scotiabank Caribbean East operation.
Claire joined Scotiabank in March 2011 as Senior Manager, Marketing with over 15 years’ experience in corporate strategy, business management and marketing, spanning local and international markets, particularly throughout the Americas, the Caribbean, South and Central America. Through her career path, Claire held very senior management positions in the consumer goods, services, leisure and tourism marketing industries.

A former Barbados scholar, Claire completed a double degree in International Business and Languages/Certificat d’Administration des Entreprises in Grenoble, France and Heriot- Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
