Apes Hill Club flourishes against the backdrop of continued uncertainty on both sides of the Atlantic.

Apes Hill Club enjoyed strong sales in the first quarter 2015 and predict improved quarterly sales in the second and third quarters despite uncertainty over the Barbados economy, a strong US dollar and a UK General Election 2015 looming in the UK.

The recent growth in sales has, in part, been as a result of construction work on the Country Clubhouse and the visible progress made in the first quarter of 2015. Apes Hill Club have completed and opened a beautifully presented brace of Tennis Courts set in a tropically landscaped natural environment complete with coral block and grass bleachers.

The Country Club, accommodating the Golf Operation, Fitness Centre and Resort Swimming Pool as well as the Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar, is scheduled to be completed and operational for Christmas 2016. Apes Hill Club Project Management have reported that a major milestone, completion of the foundations, has been reached ahead of schedule and with funding secured, and given current progress it is well placed to reach targeted timelines.

A number of owners at Apes Hill Club, buoyed by the progress made by the developer and the ongoing commitment of Sir Charles Williams and Family, have chosen to start construction of their own villas, with a dozen new starts scheduled for 2015. This activity will be welcome boost to the local construction sector which has endured a downturn in orders recently, in particular in the last 12 months.

The recent launch of the Garden Wall Courtyard Villa, designed in conjunction with Gillespie & Steel Architects, has created a buzz among the Real Estate fraternity in Barbados and has been well received by the market with over a third of the offered villas sold off-plan. Apes Hill Club has experienced improved occupancy levels in the first quarter of the year and the introduction of the Garden Wall Courtyard Villa provides the opportunity for those seeking an investment property to own a quality villa that will provide an annual return, whilst affording ample time for family enjoyment.

Quality of service, convenience and reliability are watch words for the Apes Hill Club Property Management Team. Owners have access to a suite of services, designed to be a simple and convenient option for the maintenance of their villa extending to Property Management, Landscape & Pool Maintenance, General Maintenance and Housekeeping services, promoting a ‘lock up and leave’ policy. The personal touch and attending to small details have resulted in our customers heaping praise on the entire team.

Apes Hill Club thrives, despite continual uncertainty and challenging market conditions by delivering QUALITY, from the Golf Course and Villas, to the Security, Housekeeping, Golf Services and Clubhouse Team members whilst continuing to provide a personal, understated and professional approach to our owners, visitors and customers.

Apes Hill Club successfully hosted the first ‘Night Polo’ event to be staged in the Caribbean, a night that was enjoyed by all and which we expect to become a firm fixture in the Barbados diary of ‘must attend’ events.

The second annual Sir Charles Invitational Golf Tournament will be contested at the end of April, with the Golf Course also being selected as one of the venues for the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Golf Tournament.

The excitement and anticipation that comes with the progress of the Country Club has brought the owners together and a tangible community spirit is evolving, one that has been nurtured by the Williams Family, and which, as it grows will make Apes Hill Club even more special.
