BCQS International is a professional property and development consultancy with locations throughout the Caribbean including Barbados, Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, St Lucia, British Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Guyana and more recently Sao aolo in Brazil. Established in 1969, the company has earned a leadership position in its field. BCQS are approved consultants for the British Government’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Department for International Development (DFID), the Caribbean Development Bank, all the major local banks in the Caribbean region as well as for European Union-funded projects.

Sanjay Amin, Director for BCQS International says:

Our projects include prestigious residential properties, large-scale commercial buildings and offices, civic and government buildings, hotels and resorts, and exclusive apartments and condominiums. The BCQS International Barbados office became operational from January 2002 and since then we have become one of the largest Chartered Surveying firms in the country. We chose Barbados because it was felt that all the major financial institutions and key agencies were headquartered here and at that time the real estate market was experiencing a boom. Since then the market has “slowed down” but we have some excellent clients, both local and overseas, who continue to keep us busy. We have provided, or are providing, professional services on several large projects including Four Seasons, Marriott Courtyard, Royal Westmoreland, Merricks, Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Portico, IADB Country Offices and several projects at University of West Indies. The office has also worked on a resort project in Liberia in Africa.

We expect that over the next 5 years the office will continue to be busy providing services to clients in Barbados and all the Eastern Caribbean countries. In addition, we recently attended a South American Hotel Investment Conference in Cartagena, Columbia and we hope to be instrumental in securing commissions in that region.
