Apes Hill Club will be starting 2015 with construction work on the Country Clubhouse in full swing. Architect Larry Warren has designed the first true Country Club to be developed in Barbados, accommodating the Golf Operation, Fitness Centre, Tennis Centre and Resort Swimming Pool as well as the Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar. This vibrant social hub will soon be enjoyed by our owners at Apes Hill Club and will serve to renew villa development, with a further 12 luxury villas planned for 2015.

Tourism is the fastest growing industry worldwide, with Barbados being one of many countries in the Caribbean that are greatly dependent upon this industry. The increase in the numbers of private villas in Barbados and Apes Hill Club, fuelled by the second home market demand, continues to have an important impact on the Tourism sector and the Barbadian Economy.

The Villa rental market remains buoyant

At Apes Hill Club, villa owners are enjoying improved occupancy levels. This, in part, is due to a shift in the behaviour of our visitors, from traditional hotel stays to renting villas. The discerning traveller has experienced the convenience and economic advantages of renting a villa, especially when travelling with larger family groups, as well as the personalised service that accompanies this genre of vacation accommodation.

Of course, the allure of the 18 Hole Championship Golf Course at Apes Hill Club, recently ranked by Tripadvisor as the 2nd Best Attraction in Barbados, has fuelled the numbers of fanatical golfers, and those that appreciate natural beauty, visiting this luxury development. Those that choose to stay on property are able to ‘hit the fairways’ right out of their front door.

In December 2014, Apes Hill Club is excited to be hosting ‘Classical Pops’ an event that promises to be ‘an occasion to remember’.  Classical Pops is about an orchestra that plays both well-known classical works as well as contemporary popular music, accompanied by pop and rock stars, Broadway performers, opera singers, and film composers as featured guests.

2015 will see another first at Apes Hill Club and the hosting of the first ‘Night Polo’ event to be staged in the Caribbean, including the ‘Après’ Polo Party. Owners and visitors alike can expect another packed Polo season with Apes Hill Polo Club hosting International Polo Teams throughout the high season. Apes Hill Club residents and visitors continue to enjoy an afternoon at ‘Polo’.
